Emirates Airline Long Lunch November 19th 2020

2020 SPEAKERS

James Haskell

James Haskell is one of the best known Rugby players and sports people in the UK. James has played for England & the British Lions on the international stage alongside a storied career around the world playing for Wasps, Northampton Saints, The Highlanders, Stade Francais and the Rams in Japan. James played in the 2015 Rugby World Cup and was part of the British Lions touring party that went to New Zealand in 2017.

James has a smash hit podcast called House of Rugby alongside Alex Payne and RWC winner Mike Tindall. James is known for his witty ‘banter’ that he used to good effect on and off the field and now regularly speaks about his experiences from his sporting career both at dinners and in corporate environments. We can expect some jokes, some stories and a whole lot of fun as James joins us for the 2020 Emirates Airline Rugby Long Lunch.

David Campese

David Campese needs no introduction. A maverick on and off the field, David won the Rugby World Cup in 1991 against the English. He also played in the 1993 Rugby World Cup 7s in Scotland and took on the victorious British Lions in 1989. Representing Australia for 15 years and New South Wales for 11 years, David was the first player in history to score a record of 64 tries in test matches and the first Wallaby to reach 100 tests.  David can be found discussing the game and imparting experience to the younger generation. Not scared of a controversial opinion that has got him in hot water and some amusing situations (see Oxford Street 2003) the prospect of Hask & Campo is an exciting one! We look forward to welcoming him to the Emirates Airline Rugby Long Lunch this December.
